Brief
Dr. Fielding is developing a consortium-based
management consulting practice: IBDAP
Consulting. Companies faced with specific, focused,
challenging decisions, may require only a focused
set of skills to help their team create the
break-through needed so they can go on to future
successes. This consortium will leverage
experienced industry skills, following the scientific
method as applied to investigating and developing
intelligent business solutions. The practice areas
will focus on companies that are redesigning their
systems, operations, labor force or governance
structures.
Previously, Dr. Fielding was the Chief Operating Officer at CADFORCE; a
firm that assisted architects in meeting their goals, by coordinated offshore
and onshore support labor. At CADFORCE, he is improved the governance
structures, service quality, reliability of their operations, and develop the
company's global resource supply chain. He also worked helped customers
organize their efforts so they could make better use of this type of resource.

Prior to that, at Booz Allen Hamilton, Dr Fielding, helped clients develop
strategic organizational growth plans. His specialty concerned the
extended organizational structures needed to support competitive global
supply chains. His experiences with offshore, "domestic-shore" and
multinational resource strategies provided a unique insight to creating
such structures. His background at developing quality-driven processes and
organization change were leveraged on various projects.

Before joining Booz Allen Hamilton, Dr. Fielding was with JPMorganChase
for 8 years. There he lead and participated in numerous projects that
expand business relationships into new areas. From 2001 to 2005, Paul
focused on Offshore Application Development efforts for the Retail side of
JPMC. Paul created strategic relationships with suppliers of programming
talent that were primarily based in India, with niche resource needs being
met in other countries. Paul met the sourcing needs of 6 diverse
retail-based lines of business (Regional Banking, Mortgage, Credit Card,
Auto, Check, and e-Banking). Paul and his team worked with other areas
to extend and leverage his experience throughout the institution.

Paul also lead consortium efforts to address the mutual security needs of
the Financial Services community when outsourcing and offshoring.
He is also responsible for the development of key intellectual property at
JPMC and various patented work.

Previously, Paul distinguished himself at AT&T Bell Labs by heading the
Power Systems' Product Realization Process design and manufacturing
efforts. Those efforts led to the organization receiving the prestigious
Deming Award.

He also taught Product Design and Process Design through University of
Texas at Austin. While there he was the Assistant Director of the Systems
and Software Engineering Institute, where, among other things, he worked
to initiate and develop their Distance Learning Program.
